I would like to take this moment to toot my own horn and say that I have the most badass job that a 25 year old female can have. I am a helicopter mechanic in the United States Navy. How effin' sweet is that?!

We got our duckies in a row.

Steven planned a picnic and paddle boat ride for me at Santee Lakes. How romantic is that! He bought a blanket and lil food pack filled with fruits and cheeses. He even brought bread to feed the duckies. It was so sweet. Just the two of us under a big tree right by the pond.

ROC-A-HOLICS!

My friends and participated in the R.O.C. 5K Challenge. It was 5K of obstacle courses full of mud puddles, monkey bars, bubbles, climbing, rope swings, belly flops, balancing, foam, paint splatter, ect. with about a 3 mile run in between it all. After completing this I had a new found respect for those people who go on Wipe Out and Double Dare. It's NOT as easy as it looks but man is it fun! I plan on doing the mud race this fall. Who wants to get messy?!

IT'S A BIRD! IT'S A PLANE! IT'S STEVEN'S BIRTHDAY!!

With the help of my side kicks I was able to throw Steven a suprise superhero themed birthday party at the Yard House Resturant & Brewery in downtown San Diego. My comic loving sweetheart was so surprised! This was the first surprise party I've ever thrown and this was his first time getting one. Win/Win!




He was supposed to have on a superman shirt but to have that be the only flaw of the event wasnt so bad. He's still the superman to my wonderwoman :)

Julian, CA

Steven took me to Julian, California today. What a cute little town. It reminded me of the Fort Worth Stockyards...that this is where it all started kind of feeling. It was full of old antique shops, horse & buggy rentals, and pie shops.

Everyone knows I'm a gnome fanatic! I wanted this little guy so bad BUT I fought the urge and left him there happily with other gnomes...He'll be mine one day very soon.

My Valentine's gift to Steven was quite awesome if I say so myself. I surprised him with a gondola ride around the Coronado Cays. It was everything I imagined it would be. It had the gondola boat, the man in the striped shirt and funny hat, music, champange, and the sweetest strawberries I've ever tasted.

The gondolier totally photo bombed us lol.

I definatley accidently matched the gondolier but it did make a cute picture. Today was one of those fairy tale days I used to read about. Love is such a good feeling.



Love isn't just for the birds

It's our first Valentine's Day as boyfriend and girlfriend. Steven took me to a place here in downtown San Diego called Extraordinary Desserts. I nearly had a heart attack. I wanted everything! All the desserts were topped with fresh cut flowers and flakes of gold. It was so deliciously fancy.

I really wanted those green vintage bowls but they weren't for sale :( They would look amazing in my apartment.

 Don't these make your mouth water? I had the one on the left: Dulce De Leche & Steven had the one on the right: Devonshire Neopolitan. Ohh it was to die for. I also had the Child's Play tea. It was infused with jelly beans. My inner child was screamming yes please! It was delish!

It was a wonderful day out with my love bug. He's pretty romantic when he puts his mind to it. Oh and I absolutley love that last picture of him. He's the cutest!
