Ode to the 1970's!

So I went back to the land of longhorns and bluebonnets for my birthday this year and I spent a lot of time with my grandmother. I have no idea why it took 26 years for this thought to click but what better place to find vintage treasure than in your grandmothers closet?!

            I saw this ring in her jewlery box and went absolutely ga-ga bananas!!

This dress was purchased in 1970. I can't wait til the weather cools down enough for me to wear it out and about.

Along with the jewlery and dress above I got two other dresses that unfortunately couldnt fit in my suitcase...ohh but mark my words...I will be back for them.

Wonderland.

So my bedroom is by far my favorite room in my apartment. It's my enchanted getaway :) I fell in love with these bird decals from Target. They really made an awesome backdrop to my lit canopy bed. Ahh yes, it's very Jade in Wonderland.

Hooray for birthdays!

Steven gave me my birthday present early since I'll be headed to the lone star state tomorrow. I'm absolutely in love with this lil vintage purse! Little red corvette :) I must say he did a pretty good job. He gets a gold star!
