Chowdah Bowl finished tattoo #11 today & I couldn't be more stoked! He did an AMAZING job on my scaled beauty! Isn't the color & the shading gorgeous?! I definitely recommend him to anyone looking to have some art work done. He's pretty rad.

Admit ONE.

Steven took me to the fair today. Of course it can't compare to the Texas State Fair and getting greeted by Big Tex BUT it comes into a nice pretty second :)

 Seeing all the rides like the ferris wheel and spinning tea cups made me feel like I was 5 again. We bought tickets and went into a fun house which was full of those funny mirrors that make you look weird, spinning tunnels, and slides.

We had a sweet moment on the ferris wheel. I was hand in hand with my sweetheart on top of the world. He's a little scared of heights but I don't think he'd admit to being scared of a ferris wheel (heehee)

 They had everything at the fair from live stock to spaced themed events. I really wanted that lepoard printed chicken. She was a beauty!

I had my eye on something crazy to eat. They had fried everything! Fried koolaid, klondike bars, twinkies, chicken sandwich with Krispy Kreme donuts for the bun...heart attack right? I settled on a maple bacon donut...omg delish! It tasted like happy :)

 It was an awesome day and I look forward to doing it again! Maybe I'll be able to talk Steven into a big kid ride next year.

Laundry Gods!

So I've come to terms that I'm just not cut out to be a domestic housewife and out of the domestic duties laundry is the worst! I rarely separate whites, darks, & lights and I know I use way too much soap. Tide must have read my mind or heard my teeth gritting as I dropped another $1.25 into the washing machine. Tide brought me this magical little gift:

                  It's a 3 in 1 squishy lil pouch filled with detergent, stain remover, and brightener.

Ohh the laundry Gods have spoken! Thanks for the nifty idea :)

Today I got tattoo numero 11 at Above All Tattoo.

Chowdah Bowl is doing a great job so far. I can't wait to finish her up with color and detail! I named her Linda, after my mama. Isn't she a beauty?! It's just the outline and borderline awesome but I'm pretty excited about it.

I'm thinking long flirty lashes, bright red or hot pink lips, purple or pink shells, of course the tail scales will come after the green shading along with the gold and overall shading. She's only about 20% complete...but I love her already :)

What are your thoughts on color and detail? I think she'll get finished in two weeks.

I'm a scrapper.

So those who know me know I'm a scrapper... Scrap Booker that is. I'm thinking of starting a side project. I've made cards for all holidays, scrap books for special memories, and wedding invites. I made this card for Steven. My favorite part: The pretty red button I used for a cherry :)

Today I was advanced to the next paygrade/rank. I am ESTATIC! It took a few years to get here but I finally made it. I studied my butt off and it payed off. I couldn't be more proud of myself. God was really on my side and with him & my family/friends rooting for me, I can finally call myself a second class petty officer. GO NAVY :)
